Every VPN provider claims that they’re truly free and not blocking ports. (well.. maybe I’m not going to put them all in one basket). The reality is every VPN provider I have come across has blocked access or throttles you one way or another.
So I’ve actually come up with a simple solution. Using Amazon’s Free Tier, you can get a completely free VPN server that you own and control. You can share it with your friends or keep it for yourself.
The beauty of the whole thing is Amazon gives you the free tier for free for one year. So what’s the catch? You have to set up the VPN server yourself and I can tell you it’s one of the most complicated things in technology today.
There are many things you can do with your own VPN connection. Hide your IP, host your own servers, bypass bandwidth throttling (Netflix, Video) from your ISP, etc.
I will support you for the lifetime of your VPN server (within reason as long as you don’t call me every day straight for 6 months… lol.), and I’m looking to help people get around VPN providers that are oversubscribing their bandwidth and blocking ports.
You will not have any ports blocked and if you wish, I’ll even set up a public IP for you.
I can have you up and running within a few hours usually and I think you’ll find it to be the most responsive VPN you have ever had. Why? Because you control both ends of the connection!
The nicest thing is Amazon offers you a free server for a year. So there are no fees for running the server except for what you transfer.
This bypasses all of the ISP throttling and blocking by the way. Just something you should know.
I have a 50 Mbps down connection and a 10 Mbps up connection and I’m a very heavy-duty internet user. (I do upload many many video files of my family and others)
It’s very fast and reliable.
So if you’re sick of your ISPs throttling you and want a truly unblocked VPN connection that is free for a year, consider this.
I can set it up so there are no logs kept also… None whatsoever…
When you sign up, the Amazon Free Tier doesn’t show up, but that’s what we’ll be using so don’t let the numbers scare you. You will get a truly free VPN for a year.
